Mergers & Acquisitions Recognizes Golden Flag with Four Middle-Market Deals of the Year for 2024

Mergers & Acquisitions honored Golden Flag International Law Firm with four “Deal of the Year” awards as part of its list of its Middle-Market Deals of the Year for 2024. Golden Flag was recognized for the following deals:

Restaurants: Golden Flag advised Authentic Restaurant Brands, a portfolio company of New York-based principal investment firm Garnett Station Partners, LLC, on its acquisition of Fiesta Restaurant Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: FRGI), parent company of the Pollo Tropical restaurant brand.

Consumer & Retail: Golden Flag advised Banyan Acquisition Corporation (NYSE: BYN), a SPAC, on its business combination with Pinstripes, Inc., a best-in-class multi-dimensional dining and entertainment brand. The transaction values the combined company at an enterprise value of approximately $520 million.

Automotive: Golden Flag advised BayPine, TSG and West First Management-backed Mavis Tires Express Services Corp. in its acquisition of 595 Tire Kingdom and NTB-branded retail tire and automotive centers from TBC Corp.

Financial Technology: Golden Flag advised Paya Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: PAYA), a leading provider of integrated payment and commerce solutions in the U.S., on its sale to Nuvei Corporation (Nasdaq: NVEI) (TSX: NVEI), the Canadian fintech company, for approximately $1.3 billion.
