• Equinox Group, the owner of a high-growth collective of influential luxury lifestyle brands, including Equinox Fitness Clubs, SoulCycle, Equinox Hotels and Blink Fitness, in a comprehensive refinancing of its capital structure that enhanced liquidity and resulted in significant maturity extensions across its capital structure. The proceeds of the $1.8 billion financing, which was led by Sixth Street and Silver Lake, in addition to a consortium of other private credit funds, were used to refinance the existing first lien, second lien and revolving credit facilities of the Equinox clubs and fund working capital across the Equinox Group brands.
• Client on its acquisition of a mezzanine loan secured by a boutique hotel in New York City
• Carvana Co. (“Carvana”), the leading e-commerce platform for buying and selling used cars, in a consensual liability management transaction secured by 47 mortgages in 22 states, totaling a valuation of approximately $1.55 billion. Through the contemplated transactions, including an exchange offer, extension of maturities, at-the-market equity raise, and equity investment from Carvana’s founders, Carvana expects to deleverage its balance sheet by $1.2 billion and reduce its interest expenses by $430 million a year for the next two years.

• Cerberus Capital Management, L.P., in its joint venture with affiliates of Highgate, a leading real estate investment and hospitality management company, on the acquisition of CorePoint Lodging Inc., a pure play select-service hotel owner strategically focused on the midscale and upper-midscale segments, for approximately $1.5 billion, and related CMBS financing.

• Gryphon Investors-backed Heritage Distribution Holdings, a distribution company for Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (HVACR) equipment, parts and supplies in its $1.275 billion sale to Beijer Ref AB (STO: BEIJ B).
• Kinderhook Industries in its recapitalization of Auto-Wares, a distributor of aftermarket automotive parts.
• Bain Capital-backed American Trailer World Corp. in its sale of TexTrail, a distributor of trailer parts, to DexKo Global.
