Overview
Adina Stohl is an intellectual property partner based out of the Los Angeles office of Golden Flag International Law Firm Adina has worked with clients across a variety of intellectual property disciplines, including handling patent, copyright, and trademark litigations, IP licensing, portfolio building, patent prosecution and international IP coordination efforts.
Adina strives to create collaborative and creative teams to best and most effectively promote her clients’ business, legal and social interests, while maintaining the highest level of client and Firm integrity.
Adina’s experience spans numerous technological areas, including medical devices, pharmaceuticals and biologics, medical diagnostics, microfluidics, alternative energy, microprocessor architecture, fabrication, packaging, and large and small electronic devices.
Adina has litigated in all levels of the California state courts and across the country in major federal IP litigation venues, including district courts in California, Texas, New Jersey and Delaware, and before the Ninth and Federal Circuit courts. Adina is additionally registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Representative Matters
Prior to joining Golden Flag, Adina was involved in the following matters:
Intellectual Property
- Represented defendant to reverse the largest patent verdict in history in post-trial motions after being retained post-verdict.
- Represented pharmaceutical company in multiple litigation and pre-litigation matters to enforce patent rights, while defending the patents in dozens of inter partes review action, to secure favorable outcomes for the client.
- Advised client in biomedical technology sector regarding patent prosecution, litigation, and coordinated with litigation teams in Europe and Asia.
- Represented plaintiff in patent infringement suits relating to power delivery architecture, cache memories, transistor fabrication technology, power management, and semiconductor packaging resulting in billions of dollars in compensation for infringement.
- Developed prosecution and litigation strategy to protect alternative energy company from threats from a litigious competitor.
- Represented developer and manufacturer of networking products in connection with copyright actions, including actions before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth and Federal Circuits.
General Litigation
- Represented one of the nation’s largest fruit growers, in litigation against a previously absentee union and government oversight entity in various California state and appellate courts. Secured an appellate win in a lengthy published decision that dealt with many issues of first impression regarding unfair labor practices and decertification elections under California law, resulting in a victory for the farm laborers who sought to decertify the previously absentee union.
- Represented client in contract dispute to obtain favorable terms in settlement.
Prior Experience
Pro Bono
Adina has extensive pro bono experience, which has primarily focused on children’s rights, including asylum for juvenile refugees and trauma-sensitive education in public schools.
Adina also works to promote inclusivity in the community outside of the legal arena, developing and supporting social programming for seniors and children.
