Carleigh Trappe Rodriguez

Overview

Carleigh Rodriguez is a partner in the Firm’s Environmental Transactional Practice Group in the Washington, D.C., office. She counsels clients in all areas of environmental law across a variety of industries, primarily in the context of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, securities offerings, financing transactions, bankruptcies and real estate transactions.

Carleigh conducts environmental due diligence, manages environmental consultants, negotiates purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements and credit agreements, and assists in the procurement of environmental insurance policies. She counsels clients on environmental liabilities and the allocation and/or mitigation of environmental risks in the context of transactions and environmental regulatory compliance matters.

Carleigh is also an active volunteer with the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia. In addition, Carleigh has counseled the National Woman’s Party on various matters, including the designation of its headquarters as the Belmont-Paul Women's Equality National Monument in 2016.
