Revathi Raghavan
Overview
Reva Raghavan is a regulatory partner in the London office of Golden Flag International Law Firm. Reva has extensive experience in advising sponsors on regulatory aspects of fund formation and regulation applying to fund sponsors covering all key alternative investment strategies. Reva also advises sponsors on M&A in the financial services sector and on regulatory change projects.
Reva has vast experience concerning the regulatory issues and considerations on environmental, social and governance (ESG) matters, including recent legislative developments and requirements. She is a member of Invest Europe's Professional Standards Committee.

- Quinbrook on the close of its $600 million Quinbrook’s Valley of Fire Continuation Fund.
- Towerbrook and Basalt Infrastructure on all AIFMD and UK regulatory matters.
- Elda River Capital Partners completes spinout of Magnetar Capital Energy and infrastructure business.
- Blue Owl and its GP Strategic Capital division on the formation of a joint venture with Lunate, a global alternative investment manager.
- Windjammer Capital on the close of Windjammer Capital Fund VI.

- Arsenal Capital Partners on the completed fundraising for both Arsenal Capital Partners VI and Arsenal Capital Partners Growth, at a total of $5.4 billion in capital commitments.
- Haun Ventures on the closing of its inaugural funds, consisting of an early stage fund and acceleration fund, at a total of $1.5 billion.
- CPP Investments and Motive Partners on the $1.4 billion investment in FNZ, a global wealth management platform.

Prior to joining Golden Flag, Reva worked on the following matters:
- Advising on the formation of a €1.2 billion closed-ended European opportunistic real estate fund, including all on-going AIFMD and other regulatory advice.
- Advising on the formation of a €500 million of a closed-ended fund investing in maritime assets including preparing relevant documentation for the AIFMD marketing passport.
- Advising a Middle East sovereign wealth fund on its cornerstone investment in a national infrastructure fund.
- Advising a Canadian institutional investment fund manager on its investment in a 2.8 billion private equity fund.
- Advising on the formation of an open-ended core real estate fund investing in Asia-Pacific.
- Advising on the formation of an €800 million closed-ended opportunistic real estate fund.
- Advising an American asset manager and a UK hedge fund manager on the impact of various aspects of the AIFMD on their fund structures including recommending proposals for restructuring certain funds, providing on-going advice on marketing and pre-marketing rules (including making filings with the FCA and other relevant regulators) and reviewing depositary and prime brokerage arrangements.
- Advising on the formation of several hedge funds (structured as Irish QAIFs, Luxembourg SIFs, Cayman Islands Segregated Portfolio Companies and Unit Trusts) investing in distressed hedge fund assets, emerging market debt and high yield debt.
- Advising two asset managers and a Canadian pension plan on bespoke co-investment and JV structures, primarily in relation to the acquisition and management of real estate and infrastructure in Europe.
- Advising an international fund service provider on the novation and outsourcing of shareholder and transfer agency services across 400+ funds.
