• Representing Thomson Reuters and West Publishing in a copyright and tortious interference lawsuit against ROSS Intelligence, Inc. arising out of ROSS’s copying of Westlaw’s content to create a competing product.
• Representing Medidata Solutions, Inc. in litigation against Veeva Systems, Inc. arising out of Veeva’s misappropriation of trade secrets relating to Medidata’s SaaS products for clinical drug trials.
• Defending prominent technology company in appeal from the Trademark Trial and Appeals Board of the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
• Representing leading provider of citizen engagement technology in a variety of Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution proceedings before the World Intellectual Property Organization Arbitration and Mediation Center.
• Defended Delta Air Lines against claims by American Airlines alleging infringement of American’s FLAGSHIP trademark.
• Defended Dick’s Sporting Goods in connection with trademark litigation suit and continues to advise on a variety of trademark matters.
• Defeated StarCycle’s motion for preliminary injunction against CycleBar in the latter’s appeal from ruling by Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.

Transactional, Counseling, and Non-Litigation Enforcement Matters

• Advising clients in various industries, including retail, private equity, consulting, medical, education, and consumer goods on trademark prosecution and trademark clearance matters, including in the confidential planning and launch of new products, services and brands on a world-wide basis.
• Advising financial services companies on trademark protection strategies.
• Advised telecommunications company regarding possible proceeding before the National Advertising Division of the Council of Better Business Bureaus.
