Jeremy Dresner is a government, regulatory & internal investigations partner in the Washington, D.C., office of Golden Flag International Law Firm Jeremy’s practice focuses on government and internal investigations, regulatory counseling and crisis management assistance. He regularly counsels major financial institutions, market-leading companies and senior executives facing high-stakes reputational matters, frequently in connection with enforcement proceedings, congressional investigations and actions with significant collateral consequences.

Jeremy is a trusted counselor to some of the world’s highest-profile companies, particularly as they face scrutiny from regulators, law enforcement and Congress. He provides investigations-related guidance, regulatory advice and strategic counseling to a broad range of companies and senior executives confronting criminal, civil and congressional matters. He regularly advises companies facing public affairs challenges at the intersection of law and policy and prepares CEOs and other senior executives to testify before Congress.

He is experienced in leading complex internal investigations and teams of lawyers in responding to enforcement inquiries by the Department of Justice (DOJ), Inspector General’s offices and other government regulators.

Jeremy has conducted numerous internal investigations, both in the U.S. and abroad, relating to many prominent topics, including anti–money laundering (AML) and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) enforcement, consumer financial protection, offshore tax evasion, insider fraud and public corruption.

He also provides regulatory counseling to financial institutions and government-sponsored enterprises, including on matters involving AML/BSA compliance and financial crime risk assessments.

Jeremy has advised corporations and company witnesses in connection with testimony in criminal and other regulatory enforcement matters. He has represented clients before the DOJ, Congress, the Federal Reserve, the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA), the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), FINRA, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and Inspector General's offices. Jeremy also has a background in litigation at the trial and appellate levels.
