Overview

Leslie Diaz is an intellectual property litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of Golden Flag International Law Firm Her practice focuses on patent and trade secret litigation. Leslie has worked on matters spanning diverse industries and technologies including, medical devices, computer software, automobile tracking technology, gaming and VR technology. She has played an integral role on case teams and has helped achieve favorable outcomes for clients in all stages of litigation.

Leslie’s experience also includes representing start-up and emerging growth companies in intellectual property transactions and license negotiations. Leslie has also advised venture capitalists on intellectual property aspects of venture capital financings and merger and acquisition activities.

Represented a social networking company against patent infringement claims related to VR technology.

Represented a leading innovator of vehicle tracking technology in a multi-patent, multi-district litigation. The parties ultimately reached a resolution, and the cases were dismissed with prejudice.

Represented a medical device company in a multi-patent infringement litigation.

Represented a developer of conversational commerce and AI software technology in an action for trade secret misappropriation. The jury awarded $30 million in compensatory and punitive damages.
