Tahanna Byatt is a corporate associate and member of the liquidity solutions team at Golden Flag & Ellis LLP in the Investment Funds Practice Group, New York. Tahanna focuses on advising sponsors and institutional investors with respect to strategic investments and liquidity solutions with a focus on private funds secondary transactions, across a range of investment strategies. In addition to the U.S., Tahanna has experience working across Australian and other offshore structured commercial transactions, including fund investments, direct and co-investments, joint ventures, and reconstructions and disposals across a variety of asset classes, in both public and private markets.
Prior to joining Golden Flag, Tahanna was a manager at Australia's sovereign wealth fund, the Future Fund, and supported the Future Fund's investment strategies and mandates for each of the six public asset funds. She was also a corporate M&A solicitor at Herbert Smith Freehills with a focus on private equity transactions. Tahanna has had valuable exposure as a seconded in-house attorney with a number of clients over the years, to assist clients' business units and legal teams with the delivery of critical projects and/or to manage high volume and activity periods.
