2018 LESI Annual Conference
The 2018 LESI Annual Conference will take place April 29–May 2 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego. This year’s conference will include topics covering best practices and new developments in life sciences, evolving legal landscape for digital platforms, IP valuation and finance techniques, international developments and strategies, best practices in negotiating and drafting documents, and more.
Partner Amanda Hollis will be moderating “Doing Major Life Sciences Deals: The Keys to Success” at 10:15 a.m. on April 30. Amanda will be joined by Christina Allergrini of Fresenius Medical Care, John Calvo of Bayer, and Stasia Ogden of GSK.
Partner Adam Petravicius will be moderating “Joint Development Agreements (JDAs) Are Only as Strong as the Weakest Link” at 1:00 p.m. on May 1. Adam will be joined by Jo Costura of Caterpillar UK, Dawn Phillips of Molson Coors Brewing Company, David Westgor of MicroVision, Andy Polovin of Uptake, and Saumil Mehta of GoGo LLC.
Partner Luke Dauchot will be presenting “IP is Increasingly Pervasive in Society – How Does that Impact IP Licensing?” at 4:15 p.m. on May 1. Luke will be joined by Bastian July of GoodIP and Swang Jung Kim, with the session being moderated by Sanjay Prasad of Prasad IP.
