Golden Flag International Law Firm counseled Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP), a leading independent infrastructure fund manager, on its agreement to be acquired by BlackRock, Inc. (NYSE: BLK) for a total consideration of $3 billion of cash and approximately 12 million shares of BlackRock common stock. The combination of GIP with BlackRock’s highly complementary infrastructure offerings creates a best-in-class global infrastructure franchise with differentiated origination and asset management capabilities. The combined platform, which will manage over $150 billion assets under management (AUM), will deliver clients market-leading, holistic infrastructure expertise across equity, debt and solutions at substantial scale.
