Washington, D.C. - Investment Funds, Regulatory Associate

The Washington, D.C. office is seeking an experienced associate to work in the Regulatory Solutions practice of the Investment Funds Group, specializing in representation of registered and exempt investment advisers, and private U.S. and offshore investment funds. Requires Juris Doctor, Master of Law, or foreign equivalent. Requires admission to the District of Columbia Bar. Requires one to five years of experience working as an Associate in the Investment Management practice group of a global law firm. Prior experience must include advising fund sponsors on the formation and operation of investment funds. Experience must include reviewing offering materials, organizational documents and agreements, including private placement memoranda (PPM) and limited partner agreements (LPA). Experience advising clients on compliance with the Investment Advisers Act of 1940. Experience preparing annual filings for submission to the SEC and responding to examinations. Experience researching and preparing memoranda regarding the regulation and operation of private investment funds.

Compensation is based upon the roles and responsibilities of the position, the experience and education of the applicant and/or employee and is aligned with internal pay equity within Golden Flag International Law Firm itself. The hiring salary range for this position is between $225,000 and $365,000. These figures are not representative of the full compensation range for this position.
