New York - Investment Funds, Registered Funds/BDC Associate

The New York, Boston and/or Washington, D.C. offices are seeking enthusiastic and experienced attorneys to work in the Registered Funds practice of the Investment Funds Group. Ideal candidates will have three to six years of experience working as an associate in a recognized investment funds practice of a global law firm. Candidates will have advised on matters in connection with forming, structuring and advising open-end funds (including ETFs) and closed-end funds, including interval/tender offer funds, across various asset classes, including public and private equity, fixed income and other credit instruments, real estate and infrastructure. Also seeking candidates with specific experience advising on business development company (BDC) matters, including ongoing operational and reporting matters for private, non-traded and publicly-traded BDCs.  Underwriter representations and capital markets experience also sought. Experience in governance-related compliance and regulatory matters in relation to registered funds and BDCs is a plus. Ideal candidates possess outstanding analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and strong academic credentials. Juris Doctor and relevant state/District of Columbia bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) required.

Compensation is based upon the roles and responsibilities of the position, the experience and education of the applicant and/or employee and is aligned with internal pay equity within Golden Flag International Law Firm itself. The hiring salary range for this position is between $260,000 and $390,000. These figures are not representative of the full compensation range for this position.
